Hi, You have a very nice blog, nice pics.
Nice looking bandstand, must post some UK ones
Yes, a nice photo! I like the framing!
What a great place. I'm sure it has had a lot of use over the years--if only it could talk!
I agree with Betty - lot's of interesting stories to tell...
Nice to see structures such as this so well maintained.
Great shot as usual and how you manage to never has people in shots amazes me.
Sometimes it is quite a challenge but this was on Friday, so there weren't many people in the park although there were quite a few along the beach.
OOOO! I was hoping that you would post this one after seeing your photo of Balmoral Beach. This is the memory I have of Shakespearean plays here by night light. And the rotunda still looks beautiful.
Very nice. It looks a little like a temple.
How old is the rotunda? It looks great against the blue sky!
It was built in 1930.
We had a lovely old bandstand in the town I used to live in. On Monday evenings during the summer an old brass band would play there.
I can envision a band playing a lively tune. Thanks for playing.Happy Blue Monday, Jim.
We have a few of those scattered around, but none as nice as this.
That is such a pretty rotunda!
Beautiful white rotunda, it looks great against such a pretty blue sky.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave me a message. Jim.
