Rozelle, mural

This mural is on the front of a warehouse along Mullens Street, in the inner west suburb of Rozelle. "Brick By Brick" was created by Guilherme and Debora, a couple known as Geebs, involved in graffiti, illustration and 2D animation. It depicts the the former port facilities at nearby White Bay and surrounding warehouses. It won first prize in the 2013 Wall to Wall Competition, which seeks to minimise graffiti in the local area whilst offering artists an opportunity to showcase their skills, style and creativity.

  6. The mural is a good subject for the area, and the brickwork adds to the texture of the buildings and other objects in the mural. I like the depth perception and colors used in the painting.

  10. Hello Jim! I like this colorful mural a lot! I am intrigued by those who have such marvelous talents to share! I have been a better writer than anything as I have no talent for such things as sewing, quilting and painting! Enjoy your week and thank you for this share.

  12. Nice! Every town needs at least one public mural. I think the competition is a great idea.
