Looks like a great place for a walk! The sky sure is pretty in this picture.
I agree with Lois! :)BLOGitsePHOTOS
How I would love to be near a coast right now! Our weather is crazy here in the South - sat with my son Sunday looking outside and saw it rain and snow in the same minute! Drizzled and then literally turned into HUGE flakes of snow then back to rain within 3 5 minutes. Beautiful pics as always.
I really like The Rocks. You've captured the essence of the pleasant stoll.
I haven't been to the Roacks for years - looks like they've sone a lot more 'work' thereThe water looks really smooth peaceful
this part of town is so picturesque. nope i've never been to aussie, but your images have shown how lovely this part of town is.
This is a wonderful view, Jim. Sydney Harbour must be a beautiful place to visit.
I was hoping the warehouses were apartment or loft living. :)
I love that area, Jim. I have done a history course on it and have another one coming. The first one focussed on Cadman and the next one will focus on Macquarie. I have my fingers crossed that I will be lucky in the ballot to go down the Tank Stream.
That sounds really interesting Julie. I noticed quite a few tour groups around The Rocks on my recent visits, learning about the history. Good luck with the Tank Stream ballot.
Awesome view! :)
the old warehouses on a row really makes a contrast to the buildings behind, great shot, thanks for showingchristina, swedenhttp://fotoblogg2010.blogspot.com/2010/03/watery-wednesday_24.html
I love how the building at the background was decorated to have that flowing illusion ... love it Jbar...
wow! nice! either that's a very beautiful place or your photography skills are par excellence! both probably :)
Sydney has a very picturesque harbor! Thanks for the tour!
such a nice location to visit and walk around. we have posted australian photos on our travel photo website www.vivalavoyage.com
i wish our wharves here look as fresh and clean as yours.:p
I really love your WW shots. Sydney looks lovely by the harbour. Hope getting there someday :-) Have a great wednesday and thanks for visiting.
Excellent...I peeked below at the closeup photos also. STOP! IN THE NAME OF LOVE... is my Wednesday entry!! do come by if you can, I'd love to have your company today.
Hi,The rocks look great..nice shoot.just seen the sydney harbour bridge during ind-aus cricket match on TV!!My Yatra Diary...
Do they still use the jetty? Must be really old since they are made of jetty.Have you heard that we are trying to beautify our water front in time for the World Cup?
Old and modern in the same picture. But it looks good.
Ann, the Campbells Cove wharves are still used but access to the wooden one in the middle of the cove is restricted. I featured a couple of shots a few weeks back of the tall ship which departs from one of the wharves here and water taxis use them too.
Very interesting pic!Happy Watery Wednesday..Luna
Nice photo...I would also love to take a walk there.
I like the repetiton of the warehouse roofs.
Fantastic city view!
A place to discover, so many different houses. Seems to be a pleasant place.
Like the architecture ... nice place!
Beautiful place and photo!:-)
This shows such interesting architectural contrasts: the old church, newer soaring skyscrapers, and the quaint row of warehouses in the foreground. Very captivating! Thanks for visiting my WW.
I love this - old stone buildings and faded wood, two of my (many) favourite things.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave me a message. Jim.
